HRS' Collaborative Global Series for Corporate Travel Buyers
Travel managers and corporate procurement executives are often challenged when it comes to carving time to check the pulse of the industry. There are a number of events that offer educational opportunities to consider fresh trends and hear from our peers on interesting panels but many global corporate travel observers wish there were more scenarios for travel management professionals on other continents to further their knowledge of best practices and take new tactics back to the office.
HRS is doing its part to help drive more industry education and peer collaboration. It held the first Corporate Travel Forums in 2015; this year it will host seven one-day events, which kicked off this year in Berlin and comes to London in June. The Corporate Travel Forum series provides travel buyers, procurement executives, travel managers, and select industry experts the opportunity to discuss trends across the entire travel management ecosystem. More than 1,300 travel managers and industry leaders participated in the events that took place in 2016.
The forum returns to London this year, titled “Search. Book. Pay. Stay in Control,” and will feature Rt Hon Lord Alistair Darling, the former Labour chancellor of Britain who will discuss the challenges facing the UK and Europe, including Brexit. His comments will set the stage for a day-long conversation focused on the evolution of business travel. Topics on the agenda focus on strategic travel and meeting category management, end to end process, pertinent local issues, holistic spend optimisation and innovation. Read more
Expert speakers will share their experiences from a range of companies including ITM, UBS Investment Bank, Electronic Arts, AstraZeneca and Kerry Group plus many more
