Future-proofing Your Business with Sustainable Business Travel

Bridging the gap between public commitments and implementation is a crucial first step in decarbonisation. Sustainable business travel programs are a catalyst for achieving your broader cost savings, productivity, and sustainability goals. By implementing innovative solutions that embrace sustainable best practices, the future of business travel is sustainable travel.

In this session, Clarasight co-founder Philip Charm will explain why, to truly make an impact on managing business travel emissions, it's critical to treat your carbon emissions like you do your financials and will break down the strategies and techniques forward-thinking organisations are doing to lead the way in sustainable travel.

EU CSRD - Making it work for your program

The EU CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) regulations officially came into effect at the start of the year and will be a requirement for all applicable organisations operating in the EU.

Once we establish the immediate & fundamental impact and requirements posed by the CSRD on business travel & organisational reporting requirements, we can explore the wider opportunities that this initiative will bring to a travel program.

This includes evolving strategic applications of sustainability requirements to analysing tangible sustainability initiatives that run across the spectrum of the end-to-end travel journey. From travellers making the right choices at the right time, to full visibility of the impact on the company (and personal footprint). Taking this through to deciding the strategy for carbon reduction, removal and offsetting, these sessions will provide a robust, sustainable approach to a managed travel program in an engaging and interesting way.
