ITM announces new board directors
ITM is pleased to announce the appointment of five new ITM board directors, starting April 2019
The two new buyer directors are Gemma King, Director of Corporate Travel – EMEA at Omnicom and Emma Jones, Director of Global Travel at Willis Towers Watson. Joining our buyers, we have appointed three new supplier directors; Tanya Clifford Vice President Hilton Worldwide Sales – EMEA at Hilton Worldwide, Sam McKnight, Business Development Manager at LNER and Andrea Caulfield-Smith, Head of Business Development at easyJet.
These new appointments were made following a highly competitive recruitment process. ITM chairman Karen Hutchings said: “We are delighted to welcome our new board directors, many of whom have been advocates of ITM for years. We are excited about the breadth of expertise and experience that they will bring as we continue to evolve and lead the association forward.”
In addition to the board directors who govern and shape the strategy of the association, ITM has also appointed new associate directors. This relatively new team was created to assist with projects and provide support at ITM Events. ITM’s new associate directors are Nikki Rogan, Global Travel Manager at Synamedia, Sue Jones, Senior Vice President EMEA Travel & Meetings at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Stephen McGrane, Assistant Vice President at Genpact, Peter Grover, Managing Director at Tripbam, Stuart Winstone, Commercial Director at SilverDoor Apartments, and Annicka Lofstrand, VP Sales Northern Europe & Global Suppliers, KDS.
Scott Davies, ITM CEO said: “We had an unprecedented number of high calibre applicants this year and limited spaces to fill, which meant this was always going to be a challenge for the board directors managing the recruitment process. I’d like to thank them for all their hard work and warmly welcome all our new directors as we enter a new and exciting time for ITM.”
