Launched in 2019, the ITM Mentoring Programme supports the development and growth of
individuals across
the business travel industry.
Built around ITM's CONNECT and EDUCATE pillars, the programme brings members together to share experience, gain new perspectives and support professional and career development through meaningful one-to-one mentoring.
The ITM Mentoring Programme is free to access for ITM Business members.
Mentoring built around you
The ITM Mentoring Programme pairs mentees with experienced professionals from across the
business travel
community for a 12-month, one-to-one mentoring relationship.
Every partnership is different. Rather than following a fixed course, your mentoring journey is
shaped
around your individual goals, development areas and career aspirations, giving you dedicated time and space to
focus on what matters to you.
Your mentoring journey could explore areas including leadership, communication, strategic
thinking,
stakeholder management, networking, personal brand, industry knowledge and career development.

your development with the support of an experienced industry professional.
As a mentee, you’ll take ownership of your journey, setting your goals and
putting your learning into action.
Could you be a mentor?
Your experience could make a real difference to someone else’s development.
Share your knowledge, offer a different perspective and help your mentee work
through their goals and challenges, while developing your own coaching, listening and leadership
skills.
You don’t need to have followed the same career path as your mentee. The
ability
to listen, ask thoughtful questions and share relevant experience is what matters.

ITM hosts two Mentoring Socials each year, giving participants the opportunity to meet the
wider cohort,
share experiences and build new connections across the industry.
Mentees who successfully complete the programme are also invited to celebrate their journey
and graduate
at the ITM Achievement Awards.
