ITM Raises £20K for Teenage Cancer Trust
On 3 May, ITM held a charity fundraiser at their annual conference at the Macdonald Resort,
Aviemore. Hosted by TV and Radio presenter Vernon Kay and attended by more than 400 guests, the evening raised £20,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.
ITM’s decision to fundraise for Teenage Cancer Trust this year was in support of ITM Member, Jo Redman, who sadly lost her daughter Ella to cancer at the age of 20. Jo has been a champion of this great cause and aims to raise £250,000 in memory of Ella. ITM was determined to help her reach this goal.
The gala evening, which saw several dinner guests take to the stage to participate in a series of ‘gameshows’, was sponsored by American Airlines and British Airways. Fundraising included a raffle and an auction of 2 sets of 2 x Business Class tickets to NYC with a two night stay at the Hyatt Centric Times Square.
A huge thank you to our partners who donated a prize: American Airlines and British Airways, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Lufthansa, All Nippon Airways, Etihad, Melia Hotels, easyJet and Jet Airways.
Scott Davies, ITM CEO says “This is the largest amount we have raised at a single ITM event. I would like to thank our guests, to everyone who donated so generously and to our sponsors for all their support. We hope ITM's contribution will help Jo reach her fundraising target and help Teenage Cancer Trust to continue providing the specialist care and much needed facilities for teenagers and young adults with cancer.”
