Juha Jarvinen is Chief Commercial Officer at Virgin Atlantic. He leads the Commercial function with responsibility for Network Planning, Joint Venture & Partnerships, Global Sales, E-Commerce, Revenue Management, Distribution, Holidays and Cargo business units, and core contribution to becoming the most loved travel company. Juha joined Virgin Atlantic as Chief Commercial Officer in January 2019 from Finnair Plc, where he had been Chief Commercial Officer and Executive Board Member since 2014 and Managing Director of Finnair Cargo from 2012 to 2016. During this period Juha led the airline’s commercial function into oneworld JVs on North Atlantic and Japan traffic, making Finnair the largest European carrier in Japan as well as drove major growth in Greater China and other Asian regions, building Helsinki as the fastest hub gateway between Europe and Asia with sustainability at its core with a modern fuel efficient fleet and shortest routes.
