Rachel Ward is the Travel Manager at JD Sports Fashion PLC and has held this position for the last 4 years. Rachel’s role overseas the travel offering in the EMEA region with key responsibilities being supplier relationships, implementing a new suppliers, budget management and travel support/expertise to the wider group. Over the last 4 years the travel team at JD Sports Fashion PLC has grown from zero to 4 people who manage over £10m worth of travel across the region. The travel programme has grown organically and the travel team have implemented a number of new suppliers to enhance the experience for their employees. Rachel’s team also supports with complex and large group bookings across the world and engage with a wide range of stakeholders within the business. Prior to JD Sports Rachel worked at Flight Centre as a Team Leader and then a Travel Consultant at Corporate Traveller looking after a large range of business clients. Rachel have been in travel since she was 24- having returned from a round the world gap year- and believes travel is in her blood now!
